It has been quite awhile since I last blogged. Sorry about the Pachyderm Siesta, but I was working overtime, then laid-off and looking for another engineering job. I have been very busy looking for work, but enough of the excuses already. I have been working on a new project that has been garnering my attention. We hope to release a new project shortly, so I will be focusing my attention on Media Moolah. I have also been busy with elephant searches and continue to seek Forrest Fenn’s Treasure, though my coding training has taken the forefront of my efforts.
So to show a picture for this post, I have attached the image of Elephant Rock near Shafter, Texas and I hope to have a post about the trip shortly.
I wish that everyone has a great spring and a fantastic 2015.

I just wanted to let you know that a picture was posted earlier on Facebook that was found to be a hoax. Sam the Squirrel hacked our Facebook account, so I apologize for his antics. I have attached the picture so that you will not be snookered by his tricks in the future. I hope that you had a fun and friendly Mayan day and that you approach life with a bit of humor. Merry Christmas.
“It’s the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine” Thanks, R.E.M. for that musical interlude.
Man I finally finished my book “PJ and Crazy Squirrels” and the Mayan calendar may point to the end of the world. Well, I expect to live on, so I hope you plan to as well. I thought it would be fun to post this pick of PJ again on his Pachyderm Junket at Chichen-Itza. I’m glad we made it there before the world imploded.
Have a great Mayan end of the World Day! Let’s live the new era better than the last! and Merry Christmas!!!

I thank you for your great support and patience. I am so very sorry that I have not been able to post for the last few days. I feel like the old Calvin and Hobbes cartoon when 3 cataclysmic events occur simultaneously.
I was on a conference travel so I feel that I owed the attendees of my presentation the full focus of my efforts, my father has a medical condition, so I could not get ahead, and there was an unexpected delay in the approval of the kickstarter project. Too many “irons in the fire” and everything collided. Things should be back to the normal quiet chaos now. I hope that all is well with you.
So I heard from my publisher last week that the illustrator is done with the artwork on PJ and the Crazy Squirrels. I will get to see the drawings at the end of the month when we review the page layouts. Until then, I would like to share some pre-conceptual artwork that I drew to capture the idea of the text. Can you see why I need and illustrator and apparently, I also need spell check. I am certain that Walnt is not how you spell Walnut. Anyway, this is a rendering PJ final design for moving peanuts into to storage, do you think it will work?
So this weekend ,I am headed to a regional Conference for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
I am so excited. The concept art has been developed for the next PJ Style Book. “PJ and the Crazy Squirrels” will be released in December 2012.
I hope that you enjoy this sneak peak:
P.J. grabbed a snack bag full of assorted nuts and his backpack and jumped into a company van to track down the thieving squirrels.
When they reached the ancient site, P.J. and Ellie hustled to the temple.
P.J. and his friend Ellie are on a mission to stop the crazy squirrels. The pesky little animals are nuts about nuts, and after getting into all kinds of trouble and stealing P.J. and Ellie’s inventions, the squirrels take their show on the road, and P.J. and Ellie are forced to travel all over the world chasing them down. Will they finally catch them and find out why?
